Marcell Mey

Minister at Knox

I was called to serve as the minister of Knox Presbyterian Church at the end of 2016.  Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, I consider myself fortunate to be from a Christian household.  My theological studies commenced from 2004 to 2009 after which I was called to serve at my first congregation in Cape Town, South Africa.  During this six and a half year period, 2013 rates as a highlight; this is the year that I married Ilze and furthered my studies.

It is a privilege to serve at Knox and it is my belief that we should strive to be disciples of Jesus Christ that live under the active guidance of the Holy Spirit.  As the body of Christ we should inspire and equip one another to proclaim the gospel, through word and deed, in our daily lives.
