National Church Response to Refugee Crisis

The Presbyterian Church nationally has been asking the government to increase the number of refugees it allows into New Zealand.  To back this up the Moderator, Andrew Norton, has asked all Presbyterian churches to consider supporting refugee families when they come to New Zealand. Knox-St Columba have indicated our willingness to do this and we will let you know more as information comes to hand. In the meantime the Moderator has also provided useful information/advice about ways to help for people who are concerned about the current situation and want to do more.  A copy of his letter with this information in it can be found on this page and Facebook page.
